Welcome back everyone! Thanks again for joining us. To those of you who are new to our weekly challenge please go here to learn all the details about how this works first. The next five weeks of themes/prompts are at the bottom of my blog. Also, everyone please do us a favor and read this post before entering any photo challenge…thanks!
This week’s theme/prompt is green. I had so much fun with this one. I first took photos of Abigail and when I came back inside Naomi wanted me to do the same photo session with her. Friends, she is FUNNY!!!! Oh my goodness!!! When she is not being a sassy, trouble making, bossy and very smart 3 yr old – she makes me laugh harder than anyone else.
Before we get to the shots I took the other day, a few of you asked about how to get SOOC shots at night like I did in NYC here and here.
Here are a few great tutorials for you to watch and practice
Naomi refused to do anything else until I took a photo of her sad face. Seriously friends I was almost unable to take her picture laughing at her. She would NOT change her face until she heard my shutter go and I showed her that I captured it. FUNNY GIRL!
Then once I was done this is what we both did a LOT! He he he!
I truly love each of these SOOC and this time I did a bit more color pop edits that I will share later this week.
Remember next week begins my new challenge and contest to all of you – best SOOC in April will win a $50.00 GC for one of these beautiful camera straps (I have the one shown below and LOVE IT!)
Time to get serious about ROCKING your SOOC’s! This prize is too good not to try really hard to win!
Look at the next five prompts and start thinking about what you want to capture and begin practicing now. I can’t wait to see what you all share throughout April. If you would like the entire year of prompts simply email me and I will send you the PDF file right away! Good luck and happy shooting!
I can’t wait to see all of your SOOC GREEN shots today. Have fun capturing the color God filled the earth with and gave us tons of healthy things to eat as well that are GREEN!

Beautiful photos! Your little one's personality cracks me up. The sad is cute, but I'm really loving her laugh. :)
Your little girl looks like a total character. Beautiful shots!
Naomi certainly is a character, isn't she? I love her sad face; it would have been really hard not to crack up. I'm loving all your photos this week. It's going to be great to see your WOWs on Thursday! I'm off to watch the tutorial videos now.

Green is such a fun color! Love your captures, Jill.
That sad face.... too adorable for words!! :) And the pictures that follow? Priceless! :)
Two Things:
1. Man, your kids are ridiculously cute.
2. I love night photography! I took a course in night and low light photography at a local technical college and it was SO MUCH FUN! I love breaking out my tripod and taking long exposures now...
Oh these captures are absolutely fabulous! Thoes smiles are priceless :D
Oh the girls looked wonderful in those shots Jill.
We all take smiling for granted but not for my little nephew and niece who were adopted by my brother. When they first came to their home no one had ever taken a photograph of them and they didn't even know how to smile.
Your girls look so radiant and Naomi looks as if she is so full of fun.

Precious pictures!
Your photos are fabulous! And your girls are so sweet! How funny that you had to get the sad face out of the way before you could have some fun! :)
Such great shots today - love Naomi's little personality. She is so funny and Abigail is beautiful.
Such great SOOC shots!
Beautiful shots, I love the ones of Naomi laughing!
Beautiful shots...so crisp and clear! I didn't know you could take portraits with a 100mm. I'm saving for a 60mm 2.8 macro, but now I'm in doubt...
Beautiful photos! and that sad face, oh, so cute!
BOTH of your girls are so beautiful! That little Naomi is just a doll - so funny! :)
That sad face is a riot!! :D
